Consulting service for long day care, kindergarten, pre-prep, OSHC and family day care
Assessment and rating can be make or break, so it’s crucial to be well prepared. This popular package will take the stress out of assessment and rating (A&R) and help you and your team get ready. One of our expert consultants will spend time at your service observing practice and providing feedback in each of the quality areas. We’ll help you identify non-compliances so they can be fixed before the big day and your educator team will have the opportunity to ask questions about any area of service operation, free from judgement.

Package starts from $3466 + GST for your team or service (member price).
Educator numbers may affect the quote. Any travel or accommodation costs for ITAV consultants are additional.
- Talk through your previous assessment and rating report and current quality improvement plan and identify strengths and areas for improvement
- Learn what may be required of staff during an assessment and rating visit and unpack common A&R questions for educators
- Get guidance and support on situations as they arise throughout the day
- Receive a written report outlining observed strengths and suggested improvements in each quality area
- Get a 1 hour coaching session after the visit and report, to talk through next steps
- Our expert consultants can provide best practice guidance and advice on compliance with National Law, Regulations and professional standards such as the NQS and Child Safe Standards support
- Our expert consultants can assess practice, provide coaching, review your QIP and build your understanding of the NQS
Don’t need a visit but could use some support?
We offer a 2 hour introductory package and a 10 hour virtual coaching package to be used as needed throughout the process.
This PD aligns with QA7 and APST 7. It contributes towards the 20 hours of required PD for VIT renewal of registration.
