- Learn to the ‘need-to-knows’ about documentation, programming, curriculum and the planning cycle to support you to assess your own plans and ensure each stage of the cycle is met
- Reflect on ways to improve your ability to analyse children’s learning and development
- Explore how to program in ways that are realistic, achievable and relevant for children, families and educators
Package 2: Activate
4 hours of PD – workshops and/or tailored coaching and mentoring

- Learn how to adopt a holistic approach to documenting, planning and facilitating learning throughout your program, including during transitions and routines
- Discover how to confidently identify gaps and priorities and make curriculum decisions that maximise learning and development outcomes for every child relating to their identity, connection with community, wellbeing, confidence as learners and effectiveness as communicators
- Develop and implement a purposeful and responsive educational program that reflects and builds on the knowledge, strengths, ideas, culture, abilities and interests of each child
Package 3: Embed
8 hours of PD – workshop and/or tailored coaching and mentoring

- Together with an expert mentor, reflect on your current program planning and documentation
- Embed learning into practice with one-on- one guidance from your mentor for a high-quality early years curriculum
- Receive coaching and mentoring to incorporate pedagogical practices that recognise different theories, methods and approaches to supporting children’s wellbeing and learning success
Use your School Readiness Funding
This PD aligns with QA1 and APST 1, 2, 3, 4, 5, 6 and 7. It contributes towards the 20 hours of required PD for VIT renewal of registration.
