Webinar: The art of ethical decision-making in education and care

2 April 2026 | 12:00 pm – 1:00 pm

Every day at work you make hundreds of decisions – from simple choices about routines and resources to profound (and sometimes long-lasting) judgements that impact children’s dignity, rights and wellbeing.

Each decision carries a weight of professional responsibility, but how do you know you’re choosing what’s right?

In our upcoming April webinar, Catharine Hydon explores how educators navigate the messy complexity of ethical decision-making in everyday contexts, sometimes without even realising it!

Using the Early Childhood Australia Code of Ethics as a guide, Catharine will identify a simple process to support decision-making in early childhood and OSHC settings that upholds the rights and dignity of everyone involved.

Includes introduction from Daniela Kaoukas, CEO, It Takes A Village.
